Set January 23, 2012 Ansel Adams February 20th, 1902 Ansel Easton Adams was born in San Francisco, California. He was the only small of Charles and Olive Adams. Ansel, originally trained as a genuine pianist, would later abandon his for the first time love, music, for photography.
